January 14-15, 2023 : NOFA/Mass Winter Conference
Visit our booth at the 36th annual Northeast Organic Farming Association (NOFA)/Mass Winter Conference at Worcester State University in Worcester, Massachusetts! The theme of the conference is ‘Cooperative Foodways: Building Out Future Together’. The conference offers both in-person and online events including farming workshops, FREE soil health consultations, a community seed swap, and much more. We hope to see you there!
January 14-15, 2023 @ 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM Eastern: Short Course: Taking Action on Principle 6
Join fellow leaders in an interactive online short course to take a deep dive on this topic from diverse perspectives – from the role of associations and federations to business partnerships and supply chains, to the development of new co-operatives. All content and examples will illustrate the benefits of inter-co-operation in strengthening co-operatives, economies, and communities. This short course will discuss a range of frameworks and examples, giving you and your co-operative the tools to do more and go further to leverage our collective potential.
February 2 – 5, 2023 : NOFA NY Online Winter Conference
Northeast Organic Farming Association (NOFA)-NY is discussing how to build a better food system! Pulling from their over 1,100+ certified farms, NOFA-NY is able to source the most knowledgeable farmers and educators for their upcoming winter conference. We will be there. Will you? February 11, 2023 : NOFA NH Winter Conference
Northeast Organic Farming Association (NOFA)-NH is hosting their 21st Annual Winter Conference both in-person and online on February 11th. The conference will focus on ‘The Art of Food & Farming: Skill Sharing for a Better Future’. The event takes place at Southern New Hampshire University. February 18, 2023 : NOFA VT Winter Conference
Each year, the NOFA-VT Winter Conference provides a valuable opportunity for farmers, homesteaders, gardeners, land managers, educators, students, policy-makers, and other food-system activists to participate in our vibrant community event by sharing ideas, resources, and skills.
This winter’s conference is designed to return to, nourish, and regrow our roots: our relationships! It’s been a long while since we’ve gathered, and we’re excited to do what matters most: connect with each other. Join us for a conference to connect, inspire, network, and deepen the roots that sustain the movement for a thriving agriCULTURE.
March 5 – 7, 2023: National Farmers Union Convention
Farmers Union members from across the country will meet together on March 5 – 7 in San Francisco, CA to discuss next year’s priorities. Each year members from Michigan are selected by peers to represent Great Lakes farmers in these national discussions. Attend out state convention to learn more about participating in national discussions!
